 This is Eric Schmitz. I don't know if you remember me but I played football for you in the 2003 season along with Jeff Braun and "Big Joe" and Bryan Murry. I heard that you guys were having a great season so I decided to check you out online, the program look great!

 

My last season of football is comming to a close soon and I have been looking through my old football pictures. I rememberd what a great season we had and how playing for the Bruins really prepared me for high school ball. I play for South Carroll High school and i am a captain on the team and I am the Center (the position i learned playing at HoCo). My freshman year I was moved up to the JV squad, My sophmore year I went 8-1 and was then moved up to the Varsity team and joined them durring their playoff run. We went all the way to states and lost to Patomic in 2005 in the 2A finals. Junior year we had an ok season with a loss of a lot of players and this year we are going to make playoffs (and get as far as we can!). I just wanted to tell you that with all of these great memories I've had in High School, playing for the Bruins was just as great. Because of your hardnose approch and love of the game I was able to take that and become the best player I possibly could. Remind the players to keep lifting weights and know that they have a great head start at playing high school football. Good Luck in your play off run! Way to go Undefeated!
